You’ll also learn the basics such as how to set up a Clickbank account, forward your domain name, purchasing a domain name, how to use Google tools, and more.  I found this aspect a little boring for me as I have a lot of experience in this area.  For the experience marketer, you will probably want to skim over these parts but this section is indispensable for the beginner.

The video tutorials start to go into more advanced topics like SEO, content creation, and especially research.  Many people overlook the importance of doing your research when launching an Internet business or affiliate marketing campaign.  Research is what allows you to figure out how much you can spend.  It’s what indicates whether you’re going to waste your time promoting a product or not.

But doing research also gives you a huge advantage.  You’ll have information on your competitors – see which keywords they’re ranked for, what they’re doing right and what they’re doing wrong, find what other products they’re promoting, and get a view of their overall strategy.

You’ll also need to figure out a way to analyze if an affiliate program has a good chance of resulting in returns.  Mack focuses on a balance of a quality product with a solid payout rate.  This is very important because many affiliates will often promote whatever they think will result in the most profits in the fastest amount of time.  While this may work (sometimes), the better option is to build a solid promotion around a solid product so you can get paid for months, even years for your efforts.

I think this product is centered for beginners and intermediates.  This is a solid product with comprehensive videos that literally takes you by the hand and walks through everything.  Usually advanced marketers will have a good understanding of important skills and should look for an area to improve their knowledge (like SEO, web 2.0, listing building, blogging, etc.).  In spite of that fact, it’s always great to go back to the fundamentals and get a refresher on the whole affiliate marketing process.
